ABOUT

Lucia Ramonet is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and an Assistant Professor of Practice. She teaches online advanced medical nutrition therapy for graduate students. Lucia is a clinical coordinator for the Future Education Model Graduate Program (PSM Applied Nutrition Dietetics).

In 2017, Lucia completed her Bachelors in Dietetics at the University of Arizona. In 2019, she completed her Master of Science in human nutrition and her dietetic internship through Arizona State University. After completing her dietetic internship, she worked as a clinical dietitian for Banner Health University Medical Center. During this time, she was responsible for providing quality nutritional care for patients by monitoring their current health conditions, prescribing nutritional and dietary supplements to maintain their healthy lifestyle and to speed up their recovery process. She worked in the adult surgical oncology unit, pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric hematology/oncology unit.

Lucia’s philosophy of education is that all students have unique learning styles and must have a stimulating education environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is her desire to create this type of atmosphere where students will thrive and perform at their full potential. She is committed to providing a safe environment where students are invited to share their ideas and take risks.
