Join The University of Arizona CALS Nutritional Sciences Department for their Research Frontiers in Nutritional Sciences Conference on February 22-24, 2017, in Tucson, Arizona, and learn how to “feed your genome.” We have confirmed a stellar line up of international speakers who will share the science and the practice of precision nutrition, with a focus on practical application.
Conference registration includes 2 full days of science at the University of Arizona, and an opening night reception at the Environment and Natural Resources 2 Building honoring Tucson’s designation as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy and featuring Dr. Ski Chilton, author of the Gene Smart Diet. This evening event is also open to the public and tickets may be purchased separately for $40.
This conference is appropriate for health professionals, educators, students, scientists, and the interested public. We will offer continuing education units for dietitians (activity type 170 Lectures/Seminars, activity number 129466 is approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for a maximum of 13.5 Level II Continuing Professional Education Units (CPUs) for the following learning codes: 2050 Genetics, 2100 Nutritional Biochemistry, 4040 Disease Prevention, 5150 Cancer) and Family and Consumer Sciences Professionals approved for by AAFCS for 13.5 CFCS Professional Development Units (PDUs).
