About Me
I was born and raised in southern Oregon. I moved to Tucson to attend The University of Arizona, obtaining a BS in public health in May 2021, with an emphasis in health systems theory and practice. Throughout undergraduate years, my appeal in research and health science grew and eventually led to me to pursuing the MS in nutritional sciences.

Why did you choose the Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Arizona?
I enjoyed my undergraduate experience at The University of Arizona and greatly appreciated the campus atmosphere and dedicated professors. I was inspired by the impressive array of research opportunities and was eager to become involved.

I am highly interested in learning about the functioning of the immune system in regards to the effect of stress and exercise. I hope to one day apply research discoveries in this area to preventative medicine, holistic health approaches, and corporate workplace environments.
