About Me
I was raised in Maple Grove, MN and received my Bachelor of Science in Community-Medical Dietetics from Viterbo University, located in La Crosse, WI. I completed my dietetic internship during my junior and senior years at Viterbo, and I received my RDN soon after graduation. As an undergraduate, I discovered a passion for both teaching and research, which led me to pursue my Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences.
Why did you choose the Nutritional Sciences Program at the University of Arizona?
I chose the Nutritional Sciences Program at University of Arizona because it gave me the opportunity to TA and to rotate in multiple labs while I decide on my research area of focus. I also had the opportunity to meet with students and faculty who were extremely welcoming.
